What is your cancellation policy?

Please provide 24 hours notice for any appointment changes. Late cancellations or missed appointments are charged the full fee.

Will my extended health plan cover your fees?

Confirm coverage with your provider for Registered Clinical Counsellor/Registered Marriage and Family Therapist fees.

Do you offer direct billing?

Yes, for ICBC clients, Pacific Blue Cross, Sunlife, and Telus Health.

Do you offer a free consultation session?

Yes, I provide a complimentary 15-minute consultation. For this session, I reserve the full hour; should you choose to continue beyond the initial 15 minutes, my standard fee will apply.

Can anyone book on your online booking site (Jane app)?

I kindly request that new clients contact me directly before using the online booking system. This ensures that I can properly accommodate new clients and prevent any scheduling conflicts.

Do you work with couples?

My practice has changed over time. While I still accept some couples into my practice, my primary focus is on individual therapy.

How long does therapy usually last?

The duration of therapy varies depending on your goals and personal history, particularly regarding trauma. Somatic approaches often yield quicker results than traditional talk therapy.

How frequently should I book sessions?

Initially, most clients schedule weekly or biweekly sessions. As therapy progresses, you may opt to extend the interval between appointments. Some long-term clients choose to book periodic check-ins to support continued progress.

Do you offer online counselling services?

Yes, I offer sessions via video or telephone.

Is your office accessible?

Yes, my office is in a fully wheelchair-accessible building, which includes designated parking stalls, an elevator, and accessible restroom facilities.

Is parking free?

Parking is complimentary for up to two hours. Please refrain from parking in reserved spaces.
